Can the queen mattress be put on a metal queen bed frame?

How long can this remain compressed in the box? I won't need it for 4 months.
We do not suggest you to put it away compressed for 4 month, although there are customers open and use the mattress after 6 month even 1 year, but the recovery speed will be very slower, so there will still be some impact on the rebound.
